This instrument has blown my mind. The drum is light, but the sound is huge, and the bass resonance coming from the back of the skin is not like that of any other drum I've played or heard. Using a soft wool mallet instead of the supplied leather-head mallet takes things to the next level. Nothing short of superb!

Quelle agréable surprise que ce Shaman Drum ! De belles finitions, et surtout, un son extraordinaire. Je m'attendais à un instrument plus petit (il m'aurait pourtant juste fallu prendre mon mètre pour savoir à quoi m'attendre). Quand on le déballe, il fait "énorme". Evidemment, beaucoup de basses, et c'est le but. Beaucoup de sustain aussi, ce qui est tout à fait normal, et souhaité. Le maillet est très bien, assez gros, et il ne risque pas d'endommager la peau.
Vraiment, j'adore ce drum, et je l'ai adoré dès le premier coup porté dessus !
