Excellent throne for multiple applications

Just bought this throne for playing guitar and synthesizers at home. I could not be more satisfied with the quality. Despite the fact that these thrones are sold primarily for drummers, they are perfect for guitar playing (I found out this by watching a popular British youtube channel, where they use two Tama thrones with backrests for guitar playing). I could also see someone using this as an office stool for computer or any other purpose, where such a stool is needed.

The build quality is very high and the product is well packed for shipping, easy to assemble, has tight tolerances and fit of parts. The throne feels sturdy and stable, is built using thick materials, and is suitable also for a bigger guy like myself. The operation of the gas strut is smooth and feels heavy duty. The strut has a large adjustment range between low and high positions and it does not retract much when you sit on the throne. The seat rotates freely. High quality materials have been used everywhere. The seat is large and consists of a relatively stiff ergonomically shaped foam and a combination of leather and fabric. Often overlooked feature that I want to mention is that the rubber feet and the fabrics used do not have any "new chair / furniture smell" or odor. Therefore this product is suitable for people who are sensitive to such smells and the chair can be taken into use immediately after unpacking it. I bought the chair without the optional backrest, but it is good to know that it can be installed afterwards, if needed.

Itse tuoli on entuudestaan tuttu, hyvä ja laadukas, mutta hydraulinen säätö yllätti. Pitää hyvin positionsa, omaa asentoa voi lennossa vähän muuttaa välillä, erityisen kätevää jos samaa tuolia käyttää monta soittajaa. Ostin puolivitsillä, enää se ei ole sitä.

A solid drum throne

I bought this mainly for home use so its never really left the house, its pretty much in the same condition as when I bought it.

The only thing I can fault is the comfort which for a drum throne is a big deal. I just find that after a little while of sitting on it my back will be a sore, I did notice there is a back support you can buy separately and I was thinking of trying that.

But I can't really fault the throne for the way it's made, it's a class job and would last forever if you looked after it properly.
