Sturdy sign

The sign is sturdy and all but the screw holes on each end are weak and will break if you try to change the signs lettering

A solid buy

Overall, a good product. Feels robust, and a bright LED strip inside which illuminates the sign clearly. Also, compared to similar products on the market, this is pretty good value for money.

My only complaints: For what is essentially a metal box with some LED strip inside, it's quite deep, and I would prefer it to be a little thinner, but that's not the end of the world. It would have been nice for the screws on the side panels to be machine screws, rather than threaded screws that bite into the metal casing. Also, I would have ideally preferred it to say "recording" rather than "record", but I think it would be simple enough for me to manufacture a replacement front panel at some point.

For the price, though, I really can't complain, and these look great above the doors in each of the live rooms of my recording studio.

Ich besitze ein Heimstudio und habe mir die Leuchte eher aus ästhetischen Gründen gekauft. Ich nutze sie, wenn ich etwas aufnehme - ich könnte aber auch der zweiten Person im Haushalt einfach sagen, dass sie nicht stören soll. So ist es aber cooler ;)

Sie ist sehr gut verarbeitet und !augenscheinlich! aus matt geschliffenem Alu - also Entsprechend wertig und robust.

Das war es aber auch schon. Sie hat einen einfachen Kippschalter: An/Aus. Mehr nicht.
Für knapp 80 Euro wären sicher auch noch andere Features möglich gewesen: Unterschiedliche Leucht-Modi bzw. Stufen oder die Möglichkeit, die Lampe per USB anzuschließen und so zum Beispiel mit dem Mikro zu Koppeln - vielleicht mit einer einfachen Software. Wer das machen will, muss sich dann selber irgendwelche Relais basteln.
Nicht falsch verstehen: So etwas muss die Lampe nicht können, würde sie vielleicht 30 € kosten - aber wenn man überlegt, was man heute für 80€ an multifunktionalem Hightech-Kram bekommt, naja...

Kurzum: Sehr gut verarbeitet, sehr wertig. Aber für Licht an/aus zu teuer. Leider gibt es kaum Alternativen - die sind dann oft Plastik-Schrott.
