Great guitar for the price

I own a lot of way more expensive guitars and none of them have had this high level of fret work done to them out of the box. No sharp edges and setup was very easy. Got it to my preferred 0,25mm relief with 1,5mm high e and 1,75mm low E setup with zero buzzing anywhere. Absolutely fantastic instrument for the price and a very beautiful finish.

What’s happening here?

This is one of the cheapest guitars available out there, so can anyone tell me how it looks, sounds, and plays better than many others with double the price? It’s a seriously comfortable instrument to hold while sitting and while standing (I mean… It’s still a strat, right?), but more than that, it has a great feeling neck, with an awesome satin finish.
Playing it through the Iridium I can tell it loves gain more than anything. With a Muff style fuzz I got to Smashing Pumpkins territory very quickly, and with the Rat’s distortion I felt like I was in some clash of english punk bands in the 1980s. The guitar is THAT good, yes!

An exciting instrument that is worthy in all that matters, and one that would blend in fine in the Paranormal or Contemporary series.

Basically a 10/10 for Squier, and for Thomann with the speedy, yet reliable service.

QC better than 1000+ euro guitar with excellent fretwork, no need for any modification out of the box apart from an initial setup which is to be expected in any guitar at any price point.
Very good tone for the price maybe too clear for a humbucker!

the build quality on this guitar is not too bad.. one slightly high fret, the truss rod needed tightening slightly, and the action was a bit high, but I sorted all that... but extremely disappointed that Thommann advertised this guitar with pictures as made in Indonesia.. when the one I received was made in China, something they need to correct in the listing..
