Good sound, but very stiff

It's almost like cast in plastic, the cable is super stiff. I see that this would be great for permanent cabling for example inside a studio.

Good but very stiff

The SC-Souurce MkII is an excellent mic cable, with really great sound qualities and easy to put connectors on; however, the FRNC version is almost too stiff for podium use, compared to the two other varieties (PUR and Highflex), so if live sound application is your main need, either of the latter would be a better option (although some might find also the PUR a tad on the stiff side).
