Microphone Cable (Meterware)

Live transmissions of sporting events or concerts set special requirements for microphone cables: low microphone levels of under 100 mV must often be transmitted over hundreds of metres into the mixer. CORDIAL developed the CMK 250 type for this purpose, whose great conductor cross section of 0.50 mm² guarantees a low loss in quality. Thanks to its fine stranding of thin Cu wires, the cable is highly flexible, can be used with a cable reel and is efficiently protected against interference.

Laadukas johto. Samanlaista johtoa käyttää ensiasennuksena myös eräs suomalainen aktiivikaiutinvalmistaja (heillä vain ohuempi versio tästä, 150).

Laadukas piuha

Tällä piuhalla olen tehnyt lähes kaikki omat mikkikaapelit. Vedot ovat olleet maksimissaan viiden metrin luokkaa. Sopivan vahva, mutta taipuisa kaapeli, jonka saa vielä hyvin kiinni useimpiin XLR-liittimiin. Käytän tätä kaapelia mikin ja kameran sekä mikin ja mikserin välissä.

Here's another good cable proposed by Cordial.
Specially designed for studio applications, according to the brand, it can achieve very good speaker cables.
Being in a period of experimentation, so I made a jack / jack mono CSF275 with this and have tested it in my amp and my external speakers. It makes the job very well.
? 2 for 4 with Amphenol plugs, for a length of one meter, one obtains a very good cable.
It does not reach the quality of Sommer Tribune 220 but it is an improvement over what is usually provided with a head.
I even tried instrument cable and it works pretty well for a length of 3 meters returning, jack plugs included, 7 ?!
Here's a good cable do that necessarily find use in a home studio or a guitarist.
