mahtavat mikrofonit

Näillä mikeillä precision basso herää henkiin uudelleen. Voikas äänen ulostulo ja leveä taajuuskaista minkä mikrofoni pystyy poimimaan, joten saa kyllä basson soundin monipuoliseksi. Ääni on jykevä ja täyteläinen. Sopii erinomaisesti rock, hardrock ja heavy linjastolle. Mikrofonit ovat myös herkät, joten bassosta saa hyvin irti.

Won't get you there all the way, but on your way surely

Don't rely on this set to turn your axe instantly into Harris tone-clone. If you are advanced player you know many thing contribute to tone, you newbies hear this: You'll prob need also need beefier maple neck, flatwound strings, and something similar to Harris' technique... and maybe more mass to the bass body also... What you will get is low-mid boost that adds punch and body with crisp and clear high-end attack, to my ear atleast noticable difference to stock p-pickup. Will get you axe pimped into that SH direction but does not perform miracles - but very nice sound as promised by SD. This is a quality product.

Good P-bass pickup, extra low mids.

Think of a classic P-bass pickup with a tad less highs and more low mid punch. Very pleasant woody tone. The tone sits extremely well and cuts through in the mix or with a band.
The sound became too mid/low-mid heavy when I used old half-round strings and old flats. I use D'addario XL nickel or DR nickel and stainless and the sound is great, I guess the bright strings are balancing out the low mid boost. For the archetypical Precision Bass sound I would look into the Fender 63' Pure Vintage which I also have. But for a great P sound with a slight twist, the SPB-4 is perfect. Steve Harris tones are of course easy to achieve (not like the man himself of course....!)
I had it on my bass for more than a year and I have no plans of replacing it, very happy with it. The price is right too.!

If you play with fingers, your instrument will give you exact punch-chime and right feeling. Not bad for other styles too, if you prefer high "clink" sound. Sorry about bad english.
