I purchased eight individual units from Thomann. One of them was smaller and shorter than the other ones and almost scrapes the back of the headstock. Thomann does not respond to my emails requesting refund of the one not-as-described unit OR the shipment of a replacement unit. The other tuners, except for one that stick and turns with uneven resistance, seem to work alright. Very disappointed on this purchase.

Schaller machine heads

Bought these to replace the tuners on a Sterling by Musicman Sub Stingray.

The originals are okay but on a cheap bass, I like to change them if the bass is going to be gigged.

These tuners look really smart and hold their tuning excellently. They are not to heavy either so no problems with neck dive.

I got these for a great price from Thomann and would recommend them as a worthwhile upgrade to this type of bass.

Put these on my sire v7; about half the price as hipshot.

Cant fault them! Recommended.

(nb didn't quite fit my sire v7, had to drill some holes)
