As a professional classical guitarist, these strings are very hard to beat. I've tried and reviewed over 30 sets over the course of many years, always interested in the differences between good strings. This set is unique in many ways. It has a unique feel that can be distinguished easily from other strings. These feel friendly under the fingers and have a sort of elasticity that may feel a little bit too bouncy for some, but once you learn to play them there's no going back. They offer too much more possibilities for coloring and dynamics than any other string. The Cantiga Premium hard tensions (with the same New Cristal trebles) is probably the closest Savarez has ever gotten to the beauty of this set with the Corum basses and New Cristal trebles. The tuning stability is very manageable with this set, although the Cantiga basses are a bit more stable, but sound completely different. Especially on very good guitars, I bet many people haven't even heard of all the hidden treasure tones that it may contain. These strings are for the professional classical guitarists who have the skills of great tone production. I would suggest this set for those playing with fine-tuned fingernails. This set works perfectly with Wegen BigCity 1.8mm picks!
