I use this head as a resonant head and the result is amazing and i'm really pleased with it.

I’m using this on the resonant end, fantastic sound great deep tones and so easy to tune. Great price from Thomann as well!

Classic tom head, works well as batter (top) or resonant (bottom) head. Personally I use it as resonant, with a clear emperor on top (as also used by abe laboriel jr) sounds huge and is long lasting. Little pinch of tap if the overtones are too much, or chuck a couple of pieces of cotton wool inside the drum (just a couple now) to kill over off the note sustain. Never had a bad Remo head.
