Not as dull sounding as other coated strings

I've tried pretty much every string on Thomann and I always found coated strings to sound a bit dull or "muddy". These don't sound as bright as nickel plated Rotosounds etc. and they have less "snap", but they don't sound dull at all.

Pyramid describes them as "silky" and I'd use the same word. They feel and sound smooth. I think they're a good match for my bright sounding Stratocaster by toning down a bit but not as much as other coated string I've had on it.

...they also look cool.

These have to be most beautiful sounding strings that I have ever played.
Sound fantastic on my 335, have a very nice gold shimmer and feel great too.
These are very high quality strings.

Very nice

Nice looks, warm sound, but a relatively short life span. I bought them pretty much exclusively because they are gold, but ended up being pleasantly surprised by the tone. Very rich and smooth!
