Worth their weight in gold!

After Power Pins, it's hard to imagine going back to regular pins. Changing strings can't be any easier!

Installing was really easy, tho i installed them on a guitar with large sound hole with somewhat small hands. Someone with larger hands and small sound hole might have an issue, but they need to be installed only once, so it's definately worth the effort!

I fitted these to a small-bodied electro-acoustic, a Yamaha APX-4A. It was a bit awkward as there's very little room to manoeuvre one's hand inside the body, but after a bit of patience, and also some cramp (!) it wasn't too difficult - it would be very straightforward fitting them on a full size acoustic. It has made a noticeable difference to the sound; it really rings out. The bottom string didn't used to do much more than a thud, but now it sustains beautifully. Added to this, the ease of string changing (not having to hold down the peg with one hand), and the fact they look pretty sexy too, I highly recommend them. Thomann's service is excellent, as is the tracking service; I ordered them on a Thursday night, and they were with me Monday morning - from the warehouse to my door in less than one and a half working days! - Excellent!

Great idea. Too many issues

Causes too much fret buzz, yet raises action. Also, causes piezo pickup to fail on B string. I will be selling.

pleasantly surprised how good these turned out to be. fitting was a little tricky due to the bridge pickup electrics on my Ibenez Artist guitar, but no doubt on other guitars its not so hard. Although once in place these baby's made a real difference , general tone and overall tuning stability vastly improved and changing strings is now a breeze. highly recommend.
