There are other choices

I bought this after having a Thomann Chalumeau for 3 years.
This is very well-built, with flawless construction.

On the other hand the sound is very thin and dynamically limited compared to the Chalumeau and it's way more difficult to play with that plastic reed.

I'd recommend looking for something else.

Die DooD ist kein Ersatz für eine Klarinette, macht aber unglaublichen Spaß, da sie leicht zu spielen ist und einen wahnsinnigen Klang hat. Für MusikerInnen, die gerne mit neuen Sounds experimentieren und die Blockflöten-Skills noch drauf haben, ist sie das ideale Spielzeug. Auch draußen ist sie nur zu empfehlen, da sie leicht, robust und wasserfest ist. Mit der richtigen Technik lassen sich damit sogar Enten anlocken.
