Does the job very well

This plugin emulates three different devices from pultec: 2 eq's and preamp, so this plugin is very versatile and sounds good.
Use mid-range eq (the first one) on a guitar or voice, the big one on a mix bus and preamp if you need to add some harmonics to sound. Quite universal plugin, I like it.

The Best independent Pultec Emulation Available on Thomann.

Almost every DAW and audio software company has a Pultec emulation variant in their product list, most of them are ok... But few are actually outstanding. This particular version is not the best, (The code was written in 2009) but it is better than any other version available on the Thomann webshop.
The very best Pultec version out there (IMHO) is without any doubt the RULE TEC EQ1A by the company NOISEASH INC. (Yes, it even blows away the UAD version) However due to prohibitive purchasing options, Thomann were the only option.
Having demo'd all the available variants, the choice came down to NobleQ (PSP Audioware) and Nomad Factory Pulse tec.
I chose Nomad Factory because it also had Filter and a curious limiter as part of the plug in architecture. It does what it does Excellently, and is indispensable for work with Drums and Acoustic guitars.

HIGHLY recommended for the home studio enthusiest.
