I bought a Mollenhauer Denner alto recorder about a year and a half ago and have been very pleased indeed with it: even in my fairly amateur hands, it makes a lovely sound, the higher register in particular being quite easy to good a good tone from. The price was excellent and your online ordering system very clear and easy.

Love the sound

I bought the tulipwood version as this wood has a beautiful tone. It is more characterful than boxwood without the harshness in the upper register of grenadilla. The warmth in the tone than makes this model suitable for ensemble and solo playing. I oiled mine upon receipt and then left it to absorb overnight as the wood looked very dry. I'm still getting to know my new recorder but so far I am pleased with my purchase.
