Very good value for the money!
I've been playing this almost 2 years now. And here are some observations for potential buyers:
The sound! It's absolutely fantastic. I own another Sire as well (P7) and both of these are sounding spot on. I don't know how they do it, but they have really nailed the sound spot on. Absolutely fantastic preamp here.
The features. There are plenty. In fact, there are so many pots that you get confused what does what, even after two years. I dial everything as I want and then leave them be and play on.
But that leads us to quality. With affordable price comes some responsibility but not all of it. The pots (ah so many pots) get a bit stuck after a while if you don't use them. This is clearly a quality issue and other people have recognised it too. No crackles or anything, just very stiff pots (same issue in P7 also). Also the fret ends are a bit underworked on this model (they are many times better in P7) as they start to poke a bit every winter and need a bit of filing. Not a huge deal but bear in mind. Finishing is not as good/extensive as the more expensive models but again, it's a very affordable instrument.
Overall, for the price this is very hard to beat. The punchy sound, great adjustments, fantastic preamp and good overall playability make this IMO the most wanted bass in this price range. I have even recorder two albums with this and it sounds like much more expensive thing.

kiitos
mahtava ja nyt pitemmän treenin jälkeen vielä mahtavampi ja muutkin luonani käyneet soittajat nauttivat sen soitettavuudesta. Kiitos vain
