BOUGHT IT AS MY FIRST BASS

It came in perfect condition, exactly as described, it is very comfortable as an instrument, I am very happy with my choice, it has a very clean sound, the craftsmanship is very good,no issues whatsoever. The pj feature makes room for versatility in sound.

Worth more than what it costs

This is an absolutely fantastic short scale bass. Straight out of the box it was ready to go. Perfect fit and finish. Sounds great. No complaints. The Pavo purple is beautiful. Very light and about the same length as an electric strat. Overall length is 97 cm. It will fit into a standard size case or gig bag. No need to buy one for a full size bass. If you're not sure about buying this bass, you will miss out if you buy something else.

There's some constant static sound that goes away when touching the strings, and gets louder when touching the pickups, but I don't know if it's the cable, the amp or the bass guitar. Just putting it out there, because I don't know what is normal or expected.
But the bass on its own is beautiful for the price.

Wunderschön und ein erstaunlich guter Sound mit Flatwound Seiten

Als ich angefangen habe Bass zu spielen, hatte ich aufgrund recht kurzer Finger, Probleme die Bünde 1-3 an meinem Long Scale zu greifen. Um nicht frustriert zu üben, bis meine Finger die nötige Dehnung erhalten haben, habe ich mir diesen Short Scale gekauft. Mein Ibanez Long Scale aus Japan ist ein sehr gutes Instrument und ich war sehr erstaunt wie gut der Sound dieses kleinen Jacksons ist (es gibt natürlich einen Unterschied, es sind aber auch ganz unterschiedliche Preisklassen). Das Aussehen ist klasse, er liegt gut in der Hand und fühlt sich nicht billig an. Ich habe die Roundwounds runter genommen und gute Flatwounds aufgezogen. Dadurch kostet der Bass dann 25 Prozent mehr, die aber gut angelegt sind.
Für einen Neupreis von 199 € finde ich den Bass richtig gut.
