Contains the following 8 effects:

BandPass is a dynamically adjustable stereo filter with separate channel editing, variable bandwidth and slopes
The Comb filter allows funky sound effects via five parallel comb filters in conjunction with as many low pass filters
Delay provides up to 128 delay lines, which can be edited in all details
Doppler allows you to move sounds through an audio space with changes in pitch that correspond to their movement
Freeze allows parallel loops (max. 128), of short sound fragments with pitch modulations, etc.
Freeze can be used to create rhythmic motifs, phasing effects, and many other effects
Pitch Accum consists of two transposers with automatic pitch detection to optimize delays and modulations
Reson consists of a set of second order resonating filters (up to 128), where the frequency, amplitude and resonance are controlled
Shuffling takes random sample fragments of variable dimensions from the last three seconds of the incoming sound and modulates its playback density and pitch

The classic GRM Tools plugins

This is the classic set of 8 GRM tools plugins: Reson, Shuffling, Freeze, Bandpass, Comb, Pitch Accum and Doppler. Amazing that these still stand up today and still prove useful for sound experimentation and sound design. The options for automating, storing presets and morphing are very well thought out.

I first used earlier versions of these back in the early 2000s. The new versions have added an 'agitation' feature which can add jitter to virtually any parameter in the GUI and the ability to run them in standalone mode in which you can load in sound files and render the output as a new sound file.

Note that the screen-shots Thomann is showing are not up-to-date. The current versions of these plugins have additional features!

A fantastic set of plugins for sound manipulation that can be used within a wide range of sonic art, from experimental electroacoustic music to foley and sound design for film, tv and video games.
