Great acoustic bass!

I purchased Ibanez PCBE12MH-OPN acoustic bass guitar in June 2016. I wanted a light weight bass guitar that I could play without having to worry about the amplifier.
I've been playing it for over 4 months, and it has become a dear instrument to me.
Not only it looks great but also its sound is pleasantly warm and deep, which makes me want to grab it and practice as much as I can. A relatively small concert body is very comfortable to set on my body. The neck is very easy to hold. I have small hands, so it's been great to have a bass that doesn't make my fingers stretch too much.
I also used it for a gig, too. Plugged into an amplifier, it did a very good job in an acoustic set.

At one point I had to clean the groove under the saddle, where the pick-up is. Because of the saw dust stuck in the groove, the A string sounded much weaker than the rest when amplified. But after the cleaning, it sounded normal.
I also had to change strings because the G string broke. It was hard to find a suitable set of strings in local stores because there were only the strings for long and short scale basses but not for a medium-scale acoustic bass guitar like PCBE12MH-OPN. I wish there were more information about this kind of issue.

All in all, this is a great bass for the money. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a bass guitar for easy practice.

Perus kaunis basso halvalla

En ole basisti. Halusin halvan basson, jolla saisin tehtyä simppelit bassot biiseihini. Eniten päätökseen vaikutti että tämä oli akustinen ja tyylikkään näköinen. Olen nyt soitellut n. 20h tällä ja tuntuma on itselle todella hyvä. Mielestäni tämä on hinta/laatusuhteeltaan hyvä ostos.

Miinuksena työnjälkeen annoin, koska sisältä oli irronnut liimaliitin jolla mikin johto on kiinnitetty koppaan. Liima ei ollut pitänyt. Mutta soittoon tämä ei vaikuttanut. Sain laitettua kiinnikkeen takaisin koppaan kiinni painamalla.

Integroitu viritin ei ole kovin hyvä, sillä vaikuttaisi olevan melko suuri viive ja välillä ei näytä kunnolla virettä. Tämä ei ole ongelma itselle, kun on kasa muita virittimiä. Toki tälläkin saa basson vireeseen ihan ok, mutta olen nähnyt parempiakin.

Kokonaisuus silti hyvä ja pidän basson ulkonäöstä todella paljon. Soundista en osaa muuta sanoa kuin, että se on itselle riittävän hyvä.

Hyvin soiva ja näyttävä perus akustinen basso. Tummat kielet tuo näyttävyyttä soittimeen.

I didn't expect too much from a bass in this price range, but i was very pleased when i got this in my hands. This bass is very easy to play and suits well in my arms as the body is quite small. The sound is as big and rich as it can be acoustically and with some tweaking with my amps eq, i could get very good sounds out of it. The quality of the craftmanship, hardware and electronics are good and i love the mahogany finnish. The package included a tool to adjust the neck rod and a spare bridge. This was a nice suprise. All in all - i keep taking this bass to my arms pretty often. Juts to have some fun with it. Nice toy and practice bass!
