Pretty solid, especially for the price
Compared to what you get, this is dirt cheap: programmable MIDI switching AND isolated power source in same package for four pedals and a tuner. If your effect setup is pretty simple, this is a great solution to tidy up and lighten your board - which is exactly what I did.
The power source really seems to be isolated and therefore hum-free. The switching works like a charm, no annoying delays. The panel is easy to read and program in a whiff. I don't notice any coloration or loss of signal - actually I think this is better than just side chaining the effects, there would probably be more cable meters between them than there is now with the switcher.
Few things to watch out before buying.
One, there are duds among the units. The first I got was wired backwards, so ins were outs and vice versa, and therefore the tuner output didn't work. I returned the unit and this time it worked as should, but the LEDs are now loose and bit off the alignment of the LED panels. I can live with that. Just so you know, the QC could be better with these. Then again, check the price.
Two, like usually with this kind of power units, there is a wall wart transformer with flimsy cabling involved: if you bust the cord, good luck finding a replacement. I know I'm gonna keep mine very snugly close to the board in the action. Then again, check the price.
You get a lot for what you pay for. I recommend the unit with aforementioned (small for me) reservations. If HB ever makes a 6 or 8 pedal version of this in same kind of price range, I'd be screaming gleefully and shoving money down their throats to get one.
