Great in combination with Gooseneck

I've been using this Microphone Mount for 2 years in combination with gooseneck and I must say it's great! It stays in place and it's easy to mount. I use it to mic my hi-hat. Microphone Mount is mounted actually beneath cymbals. Microphone is also beneath cymbals. It sounds good enough for me.

5/8" thread

An excellent mount. The product description omits to give the size of the thread which is 5/8". Most goosenecks require 3/8" so you will need a K&M 216 Thread Adapter from Thomann.

The thread inside the clamp swivels a couple degrees. So when the 300 cm gooseneck with the mic is on, this couple degrees let the mic rock for like 3-5 cm, which is unecceptable. I'll make it work, but generaly I'm disapointed

+ applicability

- the screw inside is not fixed so much for my purpose and expectation...is in a move a little bit (2-3mm).

Great product

this is a great producvt and one i have been looking for a while! I use it connected to my hi hat stand for the snare mic! It keep the mic at a nice location and out of the way of the sticks!

Great clamp with just one downside

Great clamp for attaching mic straight to a cymbal stand. The only downside is that there's no 5/8" thumbwheel to position the mic holder the way you want. Yes Gibraltar advertise this clamp with attached gooseneck, but I never use such - goosenecks don't hold position with heavy mics, or especially if the drums are on shaky drum riser. And 5/8" thumbwheels are not that common and easy to find - the only option is the K&M Thumbwheel 5/8", and if it's not in stock... I'd love if the guys from Gibraltar change the thread with the more popular and used these days 3/8", there's way more adapters for it. That's why I put one star less.

Good stuff but works only with Gibraltar gooseneck. I bought Gravity goosenecks and now can't use them with this clamp
