Bought for my Gretsch G5126

Bought it for my Gretsch G5126. A tight but decent fit. Good quality.

Like with all my cases I expected this case to get "road wear" as soon as it entered the gear truck. And it did. The guitar is protected, and that's what matters.

Considering the price of a Gretsch case (G6241FT, currently 169 euro), made by TKL and pretty much identical to this Gator GW-Dread (currently 99 euro), I think I made a good choice.

After a difficult & unfulfilled experience seeking a Sigma case for my Sigma DM-18+, I identified the Gator as a suitable alternative and it exceeded my expectations, not least because the guitar fits! Well put together, easy to handle, lovely velvety interior and high hopes for a long life protecting my dread!

je possède une Takamine santa Fe 48c et cet étui est parfait , tout juste au niveau des dimensions, la guitare ne bouge pas dedans, elle est bien maintenue et protégée.
La fabrication est très bonne et soignée, même si l'on sait qu'un étui guitare ce n'est pas fait pour durer des années quand on bouge beaucoup ;)
Je recommande cet étui

Stabil und geräumig

Ich habe diesen Koffer nun seit über einem Jahr für meine Takamine mit NEX-Korpus im Einsatz. Er passt ideal, obwohl er primär für Dreadnought-Gitarren ausgelegt ist.

RIchtig gut gefällt mir das Zubehörfach, welches sehr geräumig ist. Hier bekomme ich nun endlich einen kompletten Saitensatz als Ersatz rein, plus Fast Fret (Saitenreiniger), Kapodaster und natürlich ein paar Picks. Es wäre wahrscheinlich sogar noch Platz für einen weiteren Saitensatz. Bei meinem alten Koffer hat nicht mal einer reingepasst.

Der Koffer als Ganzes ist (zumindest mit meiner Gitarre) gut ausbalanciert und über die Verarbeitung gibt es überhaupt nichts zu meckern. Innen- und Außenbezug sind einwandfrei, innen ist der Koffer gut geplostert und auch die Verschlüsse und Scharniere tun solide ihren Dienst.

Den Koffer abzuschließen, hab ich noch nie probiert, daher kann ich hierzu nichts sagen.

Fazit: Ein toller Koffer (nicht nur) für Dreadnought-Gitarren mit guter Verarbeitung und viel Platz für Zubehör,
