Fun Generation SePar Hex LED RGBAW UV IR

Bought 5 of these to expand my home studio's PAR setup from 2 slightly more expensive ADJ Mega Hex pars (which I'll be using as comparison point) to 7 LED PARs total. After putting them on stands and programming them in QLC+ to work with bunch of my songs (Note: I like flashy and pulsing), here's my observations:
+Lots of luminosity (More than ADJ so can't mix them in same bar)
+Good color mixing (ADJ has slightly deeper colors though)
+All the plastic enclosures feel sturdy enough to not instantly break apart
-Not completely smooth power curve
-Not completely silent, PWM control circuit makes noise clearly audible to 1m away though drowns in music
-Brackets are pretty thin metal and shorter 2nd bracket is connected to longer main bracket and doesn't have a way to tighten it
--Not completely stable as I've had a few cases of the light's internal software hanging up and requiring restarting the light by turning off my light chain's master switch or taking off the power connector and putting it back in
To elaborate the power curve, I have set QLC+ to reduce intensity values by 70% due to small space I'm programming in. So in terms of DMX values, there's a clear visible jump between 6% and 7% (non-reduced intensity) and again around 15% and 16%. Might be some higher as well but I can't test without temporarily blinding myself.

In other words, in terms of raw luminosity, this is better than ADJ. But otherwise ADJ being silenter, having smoother power curve and no hang-ups this far, the quality difference is quite noticeable, which also explains the price difference.

Though it's worth noting that I exclusively use DMX mode. For simpler uses in other modes, the hang-ups mightn't be a problem.

I'm using two of these with an acoustic duo and they provide everything we need. The amber led really helps to warm the colours up nicely.
They are built to a price - so the case is plastic and the mounting bracket is a bit thin but it all still works. I carry them in a padded bag to offer them some protection. No damage after three years of use.
Also highly recommend buying the remote control - makes controlling them a lot easier.
