A wonderful upgrade
I bought these as an upgrade to a Harley Benton TE-70 so I'll review them mostly as an upgrade for this guitar.
These are wonderful sounding pickups for not that much money. The sound on the bridge is nice, strong and biting, while the neck pickup is pleasantly mellow.
The package comes with everything you need to install them: screws, tubes, and two wiring diagrams for modern and classic wiring . The diagram is clear and doesn't require more than the most basic electronics knowledge (or a bit of Googling). All you need is a soldering iron.
The provided screws are smaller than the original screws for the Harley Benton, so they feel a bit insecure with the pickguard. They don't fall through it but it's not a very tight fit. I used the the screws that were originally on my guitar and those worked well enough, though it did grow the screw holes in the pickups so it will be a problem for resale.
For me the installation was very easy. Wiring was already done and I could just replace the wires on the three way switch and everything worked right away.
For the HB the Wilkinson bridge doesn't seem to fit that well to the bridge pickup though that might've been "user error". It needed more elbow crease than felt safe.
The end result was a significant upgrade to how the guitar sounds.
