Expensive but offers a better sonic solution than a cheep treble bleed.

If you own a Stratocaster or Telecaster then this just works, it's expensive for what it is but in my opinion you have two options - try different values of caps and resistors until you find the right combination or bite the bullet and buy this.

Not subtle at all... Best upgrade so far.

In 2023 I purchased a Polar White Fender Player Strat as a 'pickup and play' guitar (I own several guitars). At the time the Player 'Plus' version was already out which I believe had a treble bleed, but I was not a fan of the original gradient colours. Over the last year I have been adding some upgrades to my white strat - I actually quite like the pickups it came with, so kept them in but added locking tuners, a 920D Custom S5W Upgraded 5-Way Wiring Harness and now the Tone Saver.

For context - I usually make these upgrades out of curiosity as I know it rarely makes much of a difference, but the Fender Tone Saver surprised me in a big way.

There is a very noticeable improvement in the retention and clarity of the highs (and high harmonics?) at lower volumes which sounds incredible when playing blues etc clean.

Adding a touch of overdrive makes it even more apparent and notes seem much more articulate, which sounds amazing when playing chord voicings, triads etc with the brighter strings.

Bottom line is my modest (MIM!) Player strat now gets more play time than an American Fender AV II 57 Strat I have here and it sound incredible.

Overall I consider this a real value for money upgrade and if you have some soldering experience, its really not difficult to install.

It does the job

Very easy to install and it just do the job. It works great in lower volume. Not really a must and many people would prefer the natural low volume sound. Be careful when installing, it is very fragile!

Great solution but a little expensive
jcmix 16.09.2020
I use this in my Mexican Strat. I'm a big fan of treble bleeder since I've also have it in my new Tele ultra. This is a nice solution and easy to install.
Pros: Do what it's suppose.
Cons: Expensive if you consider that it only have a resistor and one capacitor. Very thin legs and very easy to break. Doesn't bring any additional protection for those legs, one rubber tube would be nice.
