A 25+ year old Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp had so worn out input jacks that the ground signal was not connected anymore.

It was hard to find any compatible 3rd party parts to the Fender genuine mono jack that could fit the design. But in this price range the genuine is the best choice and the repair was an easy job. Unfortunately these still have the plastic threads that is the weak spot of the jacks but expect them to last another 20 years.

Good Quality Component

I used this to replace a broken "high" input on my Aria Pro II AB-50 Bass Amp, which coincidentally uses the same form of jack as this genuine Fender part. It fit and works perfectly, as expected. At the end of the day, this is simply a new mono socket jack for an amplifier.

The part came in a plastic bag alongside all the fittings necessary for the majority of amps that would use such a format of mono socket. I have no complaints with the quality of it either. It is absolutely a huge improvement from the original "dengkai" sockets originally on the amp I was replacing.

My only complaint is that the price is rather steep for such a part, but that's more down to Fender than anything else. I would recommend this in general however.

Thomann is awesome keeping this in stock. It's what you need for the red knob fender amplifiers. If yours is broken.

I repaired a small Fender amplifier with it, it is excellent part. I was able to solder it in to the PCB, then all okay.
