Durable, rings like a single-ply, great sound, great look

Nothing to complain here. Even works if you play with damaged sticks and consequently rip the topmost head (these are 2-ply). These last for a couple of years (depending on your sticks; broken wood potentially damages your heads quickly)
Open sound without weird overtones. I play Yamaha Stage Custom (1000¤ kit, nothing too fancy). Make sure to tune the resonant head the same as the top head.
