the right gauge

Over the years I increased the gauge of the strings on my guitar. Thick strings give solidity to the playing, especially if you strum a lot, and a louder fuller sound. On the acoustic (gibson hummingbird 2013) I got to the point where 12 was to thin. Then I went to 13 but that was too thick. I kept 13 for a while and this feeling of being too stiff did not go away. So, that's it. 12.5 is the right gauge.

Ich habe zwar noch nicht allzu viele verschiedene Saiten ausprobiert, jedoch habe ich ein sehr hellhörig Ohr. Naja was soll man sagen? Earnie Ball…ich glaube das reicht schon. Sie haben nicht um sonst so einen guten Ruf . Top Saiten zu einem recht guten Preis. Der Sound ist sehr voll aber trotzdem ausgewogen. Sie haben sehr starke Obertöne, was mich tatsächlich am meisten dazu bewegt hat diese Saiten von nun an zu nutzen, denn dies ist im Fingerstyle besonders wichtig!
