Very nice, but not resistant to blast damage

Light in weight, dense feel, nice to look at.

It certainly sounds like they are doing a good job dampening unwanted acoustic characteristics in my small studio.

Not blast-proof, however. Keep away from explosives.

no good mounting solution

I also got a pair of "t.akustik PET Wall Absorber 120 SGR", which has a simple mounting solution. It took 5 mins to install both. Mounting these is a nightmare. There are no clear instructions on mounting them, and the suggested methods say to drill or put nails in the foam filling... If you get this product, you must get creative with the mounting.

Super absorbers. Ik heb er 4 stuks aan mijn controle ruimte plafond hangen sinds een jaar en wat een verschil gaf dat zeg! de afluistering werd 100% beter. Doordat ze 10 cm van het plafond los hangen werken ze ook als bass trap. Verder ziet het er ook super professioneel uit. Hele mooie afwerking. Ik ben er heel blij mee.

Es begann mit den zusätzlich angebotenen "Flexi" Befestigungssets, die für 29.- bis 39,- Euro angeboten werden - und die ich nicht bereit war, zu so einem Preis zu kaufen. Die Panels selbst sind nicht wirklich schön, aber auch nicht hässlich.
Der schwarze Stoff auf der Rückseite der EQ Acoustics Panels funktioniert gut mit Klettverschlüssen, ist aber nur an den Rändern verklebt und hat sich nach einem halben Jahr von der Platte gelöst, so dass die Panels rutschten und ich sie (entnervt) wieder von der Wand genommen habe. "Klettverschlusskompatibel für Wandmontage"? Montags-Produktion?
Die akustische Wirksamkeit hatte mich gar nicht überzeugt - im Vergleich dazu machen die 7cm Basotect Pyramiden von t.akustik, die ich auch habe, einen wesentlich besseren Job. Die habe ich allerdings in 12cm dicke Holzrahmen (ohne Rückwand) "gestellt" und mit dünnem Stoff bespannt. Dadurch sieht es gut aus und die Pyramiden-Absorber Rückseiten haben einen Abstand von 5cm zur Wand, wodurch ihre Wirkung noch einmal hörbar verbessert wird.
Die Absorption der EQ Acoustics Panels ist deutlich besser (und wahrnehmbar), wenn die Schallquelle sehr nahe am Panel ist, deshalb habe ich mir Füsse für die Panels gebastelt und nutze sie jetzt als mobile akustische Trennwände für sitzende Musiker. Für diesen Zweck sind sie wirklich sehr gut und brauchbar und auch ansehnlich.
