Simples et efficaces

Montés sur une Fender Jim Root stratocaster en remplacement des 60 / 81 d'origine pour avoir un son un peu plus passe partout (typé rock classique et hard rock plus que métal).

Ils sont incroyablement simples à monter, surtout pour les gens comme moi qui ont un peu peur de trifouiller dans l'électronique de leurs guitares. Si vous les mettez sur une guitare qui n'a pas des EMG de base, il suffit d'acheter un kit EMG plug and play et zou !

Ils sont vraiment très versatiles avec une bonne présence dans les médiums et pas trop de compression (comparés aux 60 / 81 encore une fois) ce qui permet de s'adapter un peu mieux à des genres musicaux moins modernes.

Vous pouvez leurs faire confiance, EMG savent de quoi ils parlent !

Decepción

Las compré para sustituir a un JH, que entran a duras penas en la AZ 2402 y al verlas abiertas y f-spaced pensé que entrarían, pero es incluso peor, así que si las quieres para atornillar al cuerpo, olvídate. Si pusieran las medidas en las instrucciones, como el resto de modelos, Thomann se hubiese ahorrado un envío y yo una decepción.
En cuanto al acabado, venían con una pata doblada y la cinta deshilachada. Si te llevas la fabricación de EEUU a Indonesia y bajas la calidad no mantengas los precios.
En cuanto al sonido no puedo opinar, al ver que tenía que hacer virguerías para que entrasen, lo he dejado estar. Richie Faulkner las hace sonar de cine, pero también es el guitarrista de Judas Priest.
Conclusión: se vuelven a Alemania

Very simple installation as always with the EMGs. Bridge is compressed really nice and works great with the heavy stuff. Neck sounds vintage with thick lows and sparkly highs. Clean tones are also nice as you expect from active pickups.
It's simply possible to make blues, rock, heavy metal or whatever genre you are into.

P.S. Zebra humbuckers look really nice with my sunburst les paul!
