Jos soitat aitoa, nopeeta ja raskasta musiikkia niin nämä kielet ovat sinua varten. Ei ole ikinä mennyt yhtäkään kieli poikki. Testasin niitä vaihtamatta vuoden! eikä mikään mennyt poikki.

Soundista sen verran, että itse paholainen tulee joka iltaa käymään kuuntelemassa kun jammailen itsekseen. Jos kytket vielä johonkin 6505 niin aijai-jai tulee hyvää.

Good strings

I have been experimenting with these in all kinds of tunings, all the way from D standard to drop Bb.

Though they are marketed as drop tuning strings I feel they are much better suited for standard tunings. The 54 on the bottom is relatively loose in a drop tuning compared to the other strings.

I have changed tunings dozens of times with one set without many issues.

+ Stable
+ Consistent tone
+ Nice tension (light top heavy bottom) in standard tunings

- Weird tension if used in drop tuning

There are alternatives that are a lot cheaper, like Daddario EXL117 (11-56) which would make more sense if strings are changed often.

Strings to get!

Great strings to get if you wish to downtune on 24.75 scale guitar. I use this in dropped C they work out great!
Pros:
* Wound strings feel tighter than strings from other brands, while feeling pretty much the same on the fretting hand
* Stay in tune really well. Don't stretch them by hand, let them settle in over night and retune when needed.
* When used on a short scale guitar, intonation is spot on.

Cons:
* DDT range has pretty limited options gauge wise. Some of the sets just don't make sense. A wider string gauge selection would be awesome!

Almost perfect balance

I use these for Drop C on a PRS SE and Drop B on an Ibanez. The gauges are a great fit and they don't feel too stiff or too loose, with the exception of the 6th string. I wish it was slightly beefier.

Their tone is a bit on the soft side, but they retain their clarity for long periods of time. I used to buy coated strings before, but I find the DR DDT lasts just fine anyway — I can use the extra money to buy more sets of strings and change them a tad more often.
