Alrounder der Spitzenklasse

Der PAF Pro ist ein Allrounder der Extraklasse. Ich habe ihn sowohl an der Stegposition, wie auch am Hals eingebaut und in beiden Positionen weiß er zu überzeugen. Ich nutze den PAF Pro in erster Linie im Zerrbetrieb, da kommt er unglaublich gut mit in den keller gehenden Stimmungen zurecht. Er neigt nie zum Maschen, bleibt transparent und klar, auch wenn der Gainregler am Amp auf Volllast steht. Am Hals weiß er zu singen, so dass das Solieren auf dem Halspickup nur so eine Freude ist.

Auffälig ist auch, dass er mit allen Bodyhölzern zurecht kommt. Er funktioniert in meiner Mahagoni/Ahorn Paula ebenso wie in den Linde ibanez RGs. Toller Tonabnehmer für alle Lebenslagen und in allen Stilen zuhause.

très bon micro avec une belle palette sonore. le son est néanmoins très linéaire , très propre peut-être trop pour certains... je m'attendais peut-être à un niveau de sortie un peu plus élevé (à mon goût). excellente combinaison avec le dimarzio mo joe.

Also was kann ich noch dazu sagen, es ist ein super Pickup. Ich kriege ihn in 4. Channel bei meinem Engl absolut clean und das nur mit dem Volume-Poti.. soll schon was heißen !

Er klingt jedoch klassisch, die Beschreibung auf der Dimarzio-Seite trifft zu. Sahnig bei Verzerrung, aber nicht matschig oder höhenlastig, einfach ausbalanciert. Clean gespielt klingt er etwas matt, zwar perlig aber nicht sehr glänzend, cleane Arpeggios sind ein traum damit !

Was mir noch auffällt, ist sein vergleichsweise niedriger Output. Man muss schon daher fleißig spielen, um den nötigen Ton zu erhalten, sprich der Tonabnehmer verzeiht keine unsauber gespielten Sachen sondern gibt sie zu 100% wieder.

Hm naja zur Qualität muss man nicht viel sagen - es ist ein DImarzio. Jeden Cent wert !
