These strings are so fun. Nashville-tuned guitar is great to have during recordings to achieve the kind of 12-string shimmer when paired with standard-tuned guitar. These aren't as durable as regular strings but you're not supposed to go too heavy on these anyway. Highly recommended if you haven't tried before!

Excellent idea to open up different arrangement options

Most people have not heard of Nashville tuning, where lower strings are raised an octave, giving a very chimey sound. This is used a lot as a contrasting second guitar to bring an extra dimension into an arrangement. These strings work as well as you would hope in duplicating this effect, but there is a catch:
The lower strings are very small compared to the typical grooves cut into your guitar's nut, so you may find it necessary to make temporary fix by sticking something under the string in the slot to stop it being too low and buzzing, or if you plan to keep the guitar in this tuning, by getting a new nut cut

I am new to nashville tuning, but veteran on guitar, and I can say that this strings make me very happy, I cant stop to play on them! Every song on them sounds so fun, even if it ballad song. Beautiful sound, like little church bells. They are finger-friendly, very slim and soft. After 3 weeks, still they sound amazing, like on the first day. BUT.... to have a full image of this strings, you should put them on some small guitar, because they sound much better on small body.
