Herättää putkivahvistimen henkiin

Käytän tätä pedaalia putkivahvistimen efektiluupissa ja se herättää itsessään hieman kuivasoundisen vahvistimen eloon ja tuo ääneen kaivattua kolmiulotteisuutta. Käytän hyvin maltillisia asetuksia, jolloin pedaalia voi käyttää "aina päällä" -tyyliin. Kaipaamani asetukset vaativat hieman kokeiluja, mutta oikeat asetukset löytyivät lopulta hyvin nopeasti. En ole käyttänyt pedaalia radikaaleimmilla asetuksilla erikoisefektinä, mutta em. käyttötapaukseen pedaali istuu vallan mainiosti.

Does not have the warmth of the RE -201 or even RE-20 which is the closest yet.
Should have made the tone control bass and treble.

Wow, the sound !
This is a real Roland Space Echo bundled into the pedalboard friendly standard BOSS enclosure. All main features from the RE-201 are there, accessible at the touch of a knob, without fuss and unneeded gadgets. And the sound is there too: lush echo and reverbs, immediate inspiration !
And then there is the little plus, some less intuitive features hidden from the front pannel and configurable at startup, like expression pedal parameter mapping. Of course, the build quality is top notch, the pedal feels indestructible.
The downside is the short user manual: i would like to know how the repeat rate knob relates to the tap tempo mode. And the twist function, which sounds meh, but that's not the main selling point of this little gem.

Endlich mal ...

... eine platzsparende und damit pedalboardfähige Tretmine, die gleichzeitig Delay und Reverb in einem einzigen Gerät kombiniert, ohne sich durch irgendwelche Menüs durchstressen zu müssen die vielleicht ein Programmierer aber kein Rockmusiker der alten Schule versteht. Das war die Motivation hier zuzugreifen und ich wurde an der Stelle auch nicht enttäuscht, klasse gemacht - typisch BOSS halt. Lediglich die tonale Umsetzung und der/die damit gelieferte/n Grundsound/s dieser Kombination ist/sind letztendlich nicht mein Ding, leider... ist halt irgenwie auch Geschmackssache, wie so oft. Daher nutze ich Thomann's super Money-Back Option und sende den Apparat wieder zurück. Die Suche geht weiter, alles gut.
