A mediocre cable that does it's job

This cable does it's job well, but is not particularly high quality.
It is not shielded at all and seems that the inner cables are not twisted/braided.

The lengths are: ~35cm straight in the headphone end, ~60cm coil section when not uncoiled, ~25cm straight in the connector end.
This is not optimal, because the coiled section rubs your arm and gets in the way, as the straight section is too short in the headphone end. Audio Technica has this much better. But this was really hard to see from the pictures and the lengths were not included in the description either. Thomann should really improve their descriptions and/or pictures.

Note for DIY people: It is really a pain to solder a connector to this cable, as even the tiny inner cables have this plastic reinforcement fibers inside them. It melts and interferes with the soldering and also the inner cable itself is very small.

Beyerdynamic is one company that boasts of quality products.

This is an excellent cable and original.

Simple facts. It works like all of their quality replacements accessories. Don’t buy from third part as you might not get what you paid for but get this product from Thomann and you never have to worry about any issues.

Huge improvement over the straight cable

Highly recommend this over the straight cable. Its worth the effort of putting it on. I can move around my room with the headset on, with no hassle, comfy and easy to manage when sitting down. You wont be dissappointed

Excellent — what could be wrong with it?! I just want to give a heads-up: in all soldering tutorials on YouTube you’ll see different wire colors, and the one you buy won’t match any of them, nor will it match the colors in your current headphones. That’s why I strongly recommend taking photos of how everything was connected before you start. It will make things much easier later. And yes, you’ll need not only a soldering iron but also a tester. I emphasize this: the wire colors in your old cable, in the new cable, and in the tutorials will all be different.
