Best Service The Orchestra

I am a music producer and used it for many epic pieces ever since I purchased it.
It has almost everything I need for my orchestral productions and it's easy to use.

Pros:
- It even works with the free Kontakt Player so you don't have to buy the Kontakt additionally which is the case with most orchestral Kontakt libraries.
- With its 9 GB the size is big but smaller compared to most Kontakt libraries.
- The interface is neatly arranged and easy to use but maintains functionality and options.
- The instruments have different articulations which is very useful.

Cons:
- The Drum Ensemble Hits are a little bit too humanized with their different delays so it sometimes may sound too irregular.

If you look for a rather cheap but still rich orchestra library with all the instruments then The Orchestra by Sonuscore is the right choice.
I would recommend it for semi-professionals, advanced and beginners. Just don't expect to be able to make a complete Hans Zimmer production with it. Still, all across the web, this is the best I could get for this price range!

I generally like the products that Best service offers (their own products) but this one was only OK. V.1.0 was dissapointing but after upgrading to v.1.1 it became much better. Having said that, SpitfireAudio's Albion and Bernard Sherman libraries, EastWest Hollywood or Symphonic Orchestra, Project SAM Symphobia series all sound fantastic and all are in the same price range. I have them all and can tell you that "The Orchestra" doesn't come close to their sound quality. But don't take my word for it. Some, I'm sure, some will will love this library. It's also a matter of personal taste,... what your ears like.

Ich habe The Orchestra als Ergänzung für bisherige in meinem Studio bestehende Orchestersoftware erworben und bin sehr positiv überrascht.
Alle Orchesterinstrumente und Artikulationen sind absolut brauchbar, selbst das Bonuspatch mit den Chören ist sehr schön und durchaus einsetzbar. Es gibt sogar einige Spitzenreiter, die sich meiner Meinung nach von teuereren und größeren orchestrale Softwarebibliotheken abheben, wobei das natürlich Geschmacksache ist. Sämtliche true-Legato Patches klingen sauber, nicht zu aufdringlich und sehr natürlich. Das eigentliche Herz der Software sind allerdings die breit angelegten Appregatoren, mit welchen sich z.B. spannende Ostinati erzeugen lassen, aber auch orchestrale, sich wiederholende und von der Dynamik her bewegende Bläser und/oder Streicherflächen lassen sich erstaunlich gut realisieren. Die Ostinati klingen aufgrund der Round-Robin-Funktionen sehr authentisch und lebendig. Es gibt zahlreiche vorgefertigte Orchestermuster sowie Orchestercolours, die man aufrufen und an seine Bedürfnisse anpassen kann. Natürlich gibt es auch alle Orchesterinstrumente als Einzelpatches, meist mit true-Legato-Funktion. Die Instrumente laden sehr schnell und belegen für die Qualität erstaunlich wenig Speicherplatz! Es macht viel Spaß, mit dem Instrument The Orchestra zu arbeiten und sich durch vorgefertigte Appregator-Muster inspirieren und überraschen zu lassen und damit zu experimentieren. Ich sehe es für mich nicht nur als gewinnbringende Ergänzung, sondern kann mir auch vorstellen, dass es geeignet ist, als alleiniges Herzstück einer virtuellen Orchesterkomposition/Filmmusikkomposition eingesetzt zu werden.
