Great for connecting to any kind of MIDI enabled DAW or device

A versatile and snappy little thing 25.09.2021

I was looking for a CV to MIDI converter for a purpose of driving some video art from my modular during live performances. An added benefit is it is fully enabled USB MIDI device, you don't need a MIDI interface to connect to a computer. Less cables more fun! And it works with any DAW. It was a lot of fun to sequence VST drums from my Trigger Riot. What can I say, this module works perfectly fine. It's much more snappier than alternatives from Doepfer. Of course pitch tracking is a bit flaky, but that's expected and it still works very good. It's not a minus, but something to know about. I also tried it to sync external MIDI gear and clock tracking worked just fine. The only minor problem I had was lack of soloing for a specific MIDI signal. It would make it much easier to use with MIDI learn of an external device. I've suggested this as a new feature to the developer, and it looked like it was accepted as a good idea. Hopefully, it'll get there in one of the firmware updates, which by the way add some new functionality from time to time.

Dieses geniale Modul ermöglicht die Übersetzung von CV in Midi Signale.
In meiner Anwendung ermöglicht es mir, ein Modular Rack mit der VJ Software Resolume zu verknüpfen und somit Licht und Visuals zu steuern.
Der Einbau war easy, der USB Treiber wurde von meinem Windows 10 PC sofort erkannt, und problemlos automatisch installiert.
Die Umsetzung ins Midi ist sehr präzise und ohne Verzögerung, und somit eine viel bessere Lösung als klassisches "Sound to light"!!!
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis und kann es mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
