Very decent acoustic guitar for beginners and advanced players

Bought this guitar for home everyday use, also to master fingerstyle technique.

I was so shocked how light this guitar is. 48mm nut width is just perfect for more precise play. Sound is deep and clear not very loud as guitar body not that large.

Electronics are good, but tuner maybe have a defect as it fails to show string tune correctly. Sometimes it fails to determine correct string, maybe battery need to be changed, haven't tried yet, as I use external tuner to tune guitars.

Overall I'm very happy with this guitar and recommend it to beginners and advanced players.

Thank you Thomann for fast delivery dispatch! Package received with no damage, guitar was in perfect condition with elixir strings. Just perfect!

Don't hesitate to get this!

I was hesitant after numerous big name guitars.... And laminated back sides?!? Turns out to be the absolute most beautifully balanced and playable guitar I have ever even played in my almost 30yrs of playing... Finger style, flat pick, doesn't matter... Haven't even changed the strings she's that good! Thomann customers for life! (Haven't gotten go check the electronics yet, but it's shadow)

Presa in sostituzione di una Hb cla15-mce solidwood a cui si è scollato il ponte dopo poco più di un anno e totalmente rimborsata da Thomann.
La Baton Rouge è arrivata di un colore completamente diverso dalle foto visibili sul sito, il top tende molto più al marrone scuro e visto da lontano può sembrare mogano, ma in fin dei conti non mi importa perché nell'insieme ha davvero un bel aspetto, non presenta difetti ed è costruita bene. È arrivata solo con l'azione delle corde molto alta per cui ho dovuto dare una limata al ponte e regolare il truss rod. Per il resto è perfetta, non presenta buzz o note morte e suona come ci si aspetterebbe da una chitarra con top in cedro, profonda, dolce e bilanciata. Ha molto volume e l'amplificazione di serie è valida e permette di miscelare il suono di due pickup.
Gli unici "difetti" che ho riscontrato sono: l'accordatore di bordo che è poco preciso e le meccaniche che sono poco fluide, ma va bene.
Il motivo per cui l'ho scelta, è il capotasto da 48 mm, difficile trovare strumenti con questa caratteristica anche tra i modelli di marche più conosciute.
Mi sento di consigliarla a chiunque sia alla ricerca di uno strumento da suonare con le dita o per chi proviene dalla chitarra classica.
Thomann sempre al top!
