A quality mouthpiece

I've always been a fan of Bach mouthpieces for my trumpets and cornets, and when I diversified into flugel they were my first choice. I was not disappointed. The 10.5c flugel mouthpiece is a dream! The combination of medium cup and slightly wide rim allows for tight slotting of the upper register but also a depth of tone that I would have normally expected of a deeper cup. Even when fatigued, the mouthpiece provides support to carry on playing through. An excellent piece of kit which has deepened my love for the flugelhorn.

Venant de la trompette , le son est trop sombre , il est difficile pour moi d aller dans l aigu avec mon bugle , mais c est une question de goût . Je pense que pour un joueur de bugle pur et dur l embouchure est idéal . Ceci dit la taille 10 1/2 chez bach convient parfaitement pour quelqu un qui a de très fines lèvres .
