Must have -speakers.

Sound is the same as in Auratones ( I have used Auratones for years).
Build quality is very very good. The power adapter and its cable is almoust "too good" (very thick, braided cable)
Sound is essential for mixing balances.
Highly recommended!

The MixCubes are a mixing tool. Nothing else.

Perfect for what they do. Which is multiple things and I will not go over them here. I'm not this kind of person. But, the speaker works for what it does. Checking the mids. In a few words...
They are louder than I thought. Probably because they would pierce ears they way they play. They are very good quality for such a tool, I can tell you that. and they feature Ground lift as a little extra bonus. :)

Amazing reference tool and somehow I found myself using them more than my main monitors. You can work on them effortlessly because you get the clear view on what is important in the mix and what is important to human ear.
And apart from the clear hearing vision I must say that the RED color presents itself beautifully.
