Adam Hall SCP710B Super Clamp

I love this clamp - it's great combined with the SS 017 Double ended Spigot, which gives you a camera tripod thread, or a mic thread for putting mic clips on and mounting them anywhere.

We use it as a universal clamp for securely mounting GoPros, show relay CCTV cameras, or for mounting mics in usual positions like on the bottom of staging, backs of flats or balcony edges etc.

It's really great for small spaces / backstage and clamps to flat edges, round bars, square bars and almost anything.

A worthy alternative to the brand leader. Well made, should be good for many years work. Useful rachet handle for confined spaces or against a wall. (Manfrotto take note!). We have several of these in our studio performing all manner of holding tasks. Highly recommended.

Was looking for something secure to fix a Revo 3 LED effect to a speaker stand. Had my doubts about this clamp since the LED effect is around 5Kg, however, it's is absolutely solid. Bear in mind that the bolts to which you attach fixtures, etc. are not included and so need to be ordered in addition (I used SS 018)

I purchased 3 clamps, and the M6 and M5 thread are very bad in all items, I had to rebuild with a thread tap hand tool.
Pay attention photographers: the threads are metric not whitworth.
Beyond the problem with the threads, the clamp are very strong and useful.

No issues using it, totally gripped the same as any other super clamp you would use on a magic arm etc. Strong and better pricing than the official manfrotto version.

This clamp is just I need, it has a lever which retract if you need to position this clamp in tight space. Sturdy and well build.
