Excellent Replacement Foam

I used this to replace the grill foam on 4 Dynacord Sub-118. I only actually needed about half of it - each sub needed a piece about 450mm x500mm, so it was the ideal size for what I wanted and I will find a use for the remaining half.
The thickness was perfect for the subs as it was only about half a millimeter thicker than the original foam. It is easy to cut and glue into place. Along with a coat of Warnex paint, it made the subs look like new and there was no audible difference between the original foam and this.
Overall an excellent product and great value for money.

Acoustic foam that can cover grills etc on speakers, sonically transparent, this foam attaches well with velcro, cut to shape a few mills shorter than your measured area, and stretch for a good fit. Thiner versions of this product are harder to work with, but could be fitted behind a full grill facia. Thomann's price on this was considerably cheaper than I could find elsewhere.

Good quality, ok acoustic characteristics

Used it as a cover for my speakers, It did not change anything to the sound or feel of my speakers. I had a lot left over as it is quite a big roll.

Used this on all my floorwedges and two subs. Bought two rolls, enough for 10 monitors and two subs!

I also bought spray adhesive, wich did not look pretty at all, it looked like spiderweb. So i ended up not using spray adhesive. I will instead paint the inside of the steel grills and press the foam firmly into place, with some books to keep it down while the paint dries.

Always test on a small piece before doing the whole thing, paint and foam can have a chemical reaction, especially strong paints like polyurethane.

The sound is not affected much. I had some hiss in my floor wedges, and not they are less hissy. But vocals are still crisp and clear
