Strange little cheap plastic gadget, but the sound possibilities are incredible
PeterBøggild 13.08.2021
Now really well made, appears cheap and fidgety. I would never, ever go for anything like this unless it was unique, which, as far as I can judge, it is. This is an "antiradio", a really, really bad radio, which captures all the noise from appliances, cables, passing cars, real radio, computers and allow you to record it (you need to get the recorder separately, I use a zoom). What I get are tons and tons of interesting, complex, dynamic/moving textures and outrageous sounds, which i dump on samplers in Ableton and play as keyboards or pads in songs. Given how insane the samples sound, this results in surprisingly high quality sounds that I would never be able to layer with additive or subtractive synthesis. I can be seen walking arounds the streets of Copenhagen with a huge smile on my face, listening to sounds noone else can hear, holding the little ugly box up like a mad scientist. This is a gem, and anyone interested in sound design or electronica should get it. I use it for electronic/electric doom pop, creating strange pads and stringy synths, and its simply a blast.

Light plastic case. Fun to use. Quite loud hum in most cases when surrounding signal is low.

Intriguing gadget
Dekadenz 23.04.2021
This little thing opens up a whole new world - the noises you can pick up are pretty weird, amazing and unique. I enjoy going on an "ether safari" in my city and just experience the city on a whole new level (and harvest samples for later use) It is great for weird, ambient, experimental music.

I do feel like the housing could be better. It has a bit of a "cheap plastic toy" feel for the price.

Fed gadget

Spændende dims til at lytte til omgivelserne med og til at optage elektrisk støj til senere brug. Kunne godt have lidt flere features og et lidt mere robust udtryk, men ellers er alt tip top
