I can't believe it!
Dapapa 14.02.2022
I love tube amps. Right now have a Vox AC15 and Egnater Tweaker 15 into a 1x12" Jensen Blackbird alnico speakers. I run these as wet-dry setup! Sounds great!

But I wanted a Fender amp and was eyeing the Deluxe Reverb which is just too expensive for me and is too loud to get that sweet spot. So I looked to get something else, something that can be recorded silently via XLR and also can get me that sweet edge of break up tone on lower home-friendly volumes.

I did have the VOX VT series amp and the Katana amp too as well as different multi fx pedals but none of these really stayed in my hands for very long.

Somehow I saw a demo on YT by Jay Leonard J demoing this Superblock US and I was in disbelief! I looked at more demos with some jazz players and each demo sounded great! That Fender clean and also that lovely edge of break up. One demo by Corie (Cory) is too fizzy and not really what this amo is about but the other demos sure nail it!

Im still not able to believe that Quiltert did it! There is all the feel you get with tube amp! Also, the XLR and Headphones tone is as good as the one I get from my speaker cab! It just is SO GOOD!

I made a mistake at first and placed the EQ knobs as I would do on a normal amp but that resulted in a thin bad sound and I was at first underwhelmed! But then realised that these are ACTIVE EQ knobs :D and started from Noon! Now I boosted to the right and got such a lovely tone!

65 voicing sounds the best but 57 sounds fullest. Im not really into 61 but Im sure it has its uses.
BTW, sounds great both at 24V and 9V!

The delay doesn't sound good up front when the gain on the amp is set high!
Here I use the fx loop which works great. Maybe loses a bit of high end but trust me I have played unusable fx loops on tibe amps and this one is certainly very usable (loose treble, adds more treble with active EQ of the amp).
Takes OD pedals very well. Also other pedals sound good but its own Reverb is more than enough and sounds great!

I cant get this lovely edge of break up with my tube amps without the help of Wampler Euphoria OD pedal. Quilter Superblock US however can achieve this without ANY pedals! Im so happy with this amp! Will likely get the UK version too!

Well done Quilter!
Here you can hear how it sounds without any pedals! I play the Fender Vintera 50's Tele here and only use the guitar's volume and tone knobs to get these tones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBue7jGDtfI

Amazing and Small
ChrisHoness 18.10.2021
Love this, bought as my main amp after trying Orange micros, a bugera small tube and some other stuff as I was after a good pedal platform.
I’ve paired this with a HB V30 1x12 and it’s great, lovely fender cleans on the 67 mode and a nice tweedy crunch on the 50s mode.
I am unbelievably happy and now plan to get the UK version and another cab and then maybe swap my current V30 to a G12 Creamback for a perfect wet amp.
Honestly the guys at Quilter are geniuses

Quilter Nailed It! ...Again!
A d a m 08.11.2022
I allready have the Quilter 101 Reverb and sold all my tube amps because of it. When Quilter came out with the Superblock US, I ordered it immediately. It's quite an upgrade soundwise! First it gives you 3 very distinct voices that are pretty accurate on the era they represent, changing mostly the mid-range response. All 3 sounds really good! And the cab simulator is very handy and sounds great. I allready had a bunch of gigs with a PA system, where I had just my pedalboard with the Quilter and my guitar.

Let me break down the pros and cons that I have encounter gigging with this amp.
PROS:
-Very small and lightweight
-FX Loop
-Very loud 25W (volume wise same or maybe even more headroom than my now sold Deluxe Reverb)
-The line out (XLR) with the cab sim sounds great
-A great sounding reverb

CONS:
-The main power supply (PS-24) is a separate unit (that's why I gave 3 stars for handling)
-Compared to the Quilter 101 Reverb it feels a bit fragile (that's the 4 stars for quality)

I shuld also mention that I'm using it with a Jensen Jet Series Tornado 10" 8Ohm in a custom mahogany cabinet.

C'mon, it's a steal
Steebz 18.02.2022
After years of having owned and used them classic tube amps (handwired Voxes and Fenders mostly) I've become a bit of a transistor amp convert recently, and this one seems to take the cake. Tiny footprint, portable, incredibly versatile with all the outs and the power options, grrreat sound, perfect for your bedroom and loud enough for gigs, well-built, takes pedals like a champ... and not much more expensive than your standard AC30 retube. I mean, even if you just pick one up as a backpack backup for your trusty tube amp... it just makes total sense. Well done Quilter!
