This pedal is not a traditional effects pedal. You will need additional effects (or a chain of effects), plugged into the send/return loop. Then your input signal is fed through this and it feeds back on itself. The sound o it very much depends on what kinds of pedals you're using with it. You can use anything, but I've got interesting results with reverbs, ring modulation, and other types of modulation.

You might get the most useable results when going into a compressor as the output can be quite wild. Use small changes of the parameters to ride the storm and create an evolving chaos.
