Welcome back home Darling...

I used to be the lucky owner of an original Korg Ms-20 and as many others had to sell it to pay the rent (struggling artist)...
Thanks to Behringer and the very affordable prices I now again can produce those well known sounds only MS-20 can produce.
The sound is spot on and even though it does not look the same it feels the same as the original.
I am 100% happy :)

Pros:
- No keys. My studio does not need any more keys.
- Build quality is very good. The knobs feel good and aren't wobbly.
- None of the other reproductions can compete with the price.
- A lot of fun to program.

Cons:
- None in my opinion

I've never had an MS-20 but I like this little beast for what it is w.o. comparison. The K-2 can sound really dirty and weird if you want it to but also soft and mellow. It takes a little getting used to the somewhat smaller footprint and smaller buttons but that's just a matter of investing some time in getting to know the synth layout. I've gotten a lot of very useful sounds out of my K-2 for my productions and I recommend this and all the other Behringer clones to anyone with an interest in synthesizers. After all you don't have to shove up a ton of money to be able to experiment - that's a welcome thought.

Jeg er ikke så interesseret i om hvorvidt den virkelig lyder som en MS20. Den har grundlæggende en super fed lyd. Jeg er særligt vild med dens filtre, envelopes og ringmodulation. Den kan få lyde der er produktet af simpel syntese til at fremstå interessante og livlige.

Eneste minus er drejeknapperne der er ret glatte og stramme.

Portable AND Powerful!

An amazing product yet again by the Behringer Team! They nailed the sound of the MS-20 with this version. I already have the Korg MS-20 Mini and I must admit that the sound is ever so slightly warmer sounding, while the K-2 is more "New and Crunchy" sounding. Difficult to explain but they really are "familiar sounding" and you will not notice the difference in the "Final Mix/Song".

If you want a portable desktop version of the MS-20, then definitely grab the K-2. It's built like a tank, the same as the Model-D and Neutron.

The ONLY con is that the K-2 ONLY came with 2 x Patch Cables. So when you buy this item, make sure that you pickup a few extra patch cables to have fun with. Luckily, I still have a few from my Neutron and MS-20.

Amazing sound for such a small footprint.

I HIGHLY recommend the K-2 as a GREAT PURCHASE! You know you want one!
