Awesome sound

When you look for a headphone for mixing and live-sound purposes, you wan't to make sure, that the sound is detailed, the instruments are easy to distinguesh, the vocals sound wellbalanced when well mixed.
That's excactly what I found in these awesome headphones from Audeze.
I needed headphones with no spill, so I can use them for recording vocals and also the other way round in live mixing situations, where sound from the outside should be damped as much as possibtle, so I can distinguish, what is going on the FOH speakers.
I've been searching for quite a while for this sound, these specifications and this build and I must say: I'm blown away.
Jup, they quite robust and you will not be dancing around with Audeze LCD-2 on you head (unless you strap em on with duct tape), but you probably will make other peple dance, when they hear the mix you are putting together because of these well balanced haedphones.

I moved from Denmark to Spain a few years ago and been trying to find the right combination for work and living witch has been giving me a big big challenges . Coming from years in big studios with the right acoustic its been so so hard to work in apartments on smaller setups… Finally i fund the Audeze headphones and it gave me back the joy of producing and writing as it fells like you have 2 set awesome speakers direcly on your head no matter where you you are and gives you a fantastic volume without trashing the sound… Its just a out of this world experience working with sooo details sounding headphones as the Audeza… I know this is not the most expensive once but they deliver so much than expected and the price… This is NOT my last pair of Audeze LCD-2 Classic Closed

Une musicalité aérienne et un confort inatendu pour un si gros objet

Le casque est volumineux et lourd. Cependant, après des heures d'écoute, il reste confortable. Contrairement à d'autres de mes casques qui se révèlent plus vite fatigants..
Le son est magnifique. Une plage sonore très large (écoute avec un Astell & Kern SP2000T). La musique apparaît légère, vivante. Un plaisir de tous les instant avec des styles de musique très divers : Mozart ou du Jazz ou la musique POP. Un peu cher sans doute, mais je le recommande sans hésitation.
