The amount of variables is so high that our video-team is working non-stop to test every little detail. Our guests deserve top-notch quality and a worry-free experience, and we will deliver it! Our helpers are working super-hard, so please show some love for them with a comment below ?

Day 3 – final touches! Our helpers are testing gear, cameras and lights and everything is running smoothly. Musical collaborations are being born along the way, such as the jingle that you can hear in our Coffee Safety Cup video. Pumped to see what else this event will bring. Go!

Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 5:00 PM

As we’re close to the end of Phase I, it’s necessary to give you some technical info about our video rooms:
Every video room is equipped with 4 to 5 4k professional cameras, a live-switching workstation with powerful computers and top notch audio cards and 4K switchers kindly sponsored by Universal Audio and Blackmagic. On top of that, the editing room will feature 3 more stations to provide instant videos to our YouTubers. Routing the necessary power and cabling these areas was not an easy task, but our amazing team delivered in time.
One more day left to finish the preparations: be sure to check out our social channels as the team will start video-testing and gear-testing tomorrow. #TGU18 has never been this close!!

Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 1:30 PM

It’s time for lunch for our video team. But instead of eating food and all those common human habits, our crafty guests prefer to feed themselves with some music. And we see nothing wrong with that!

Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 11:00 AM

2 and we keep on rollin’! Setting up the rooms is not an easy task, but Thomann’s little helpers know no fear – as you can clearly see from their faces. No stress at all can be seen in this photographic evidence 😉  Everyone’s bracing themselves for our YouTuber invasion!
