Wireless Plug-and-Play for guitars and basses

The Xvive U2 Guitar Wireless System, here presented in a classic black version, provides an affordable and quality solution for guitarists and bassists who wish to be free of cables and go wireless, thus saving space, time, and nerves. Both the transmitter and the receiver are extremely compact, easily fitting into any pocket and 1/4” jack input. In true Plug-and-Play tradition, setting up the system is very straightforward. The XVive U2 system operates at 24-bit/48kHz resolutions over the 2.4GHz ISM worldwide open band and is thus license-free. With a range of up to 30 meters and a battery life of five hours, it allows performances on stage to go unhindered.

XVive Wireless System U2 Black, receiver and transmitter

Easy setup

The Y-USB cables provided allow the batteries of the transmitter and receiver to be simultaneously charged in about an hour and a half. Setting up the system is then very straightforward. Initially, a flashing blue LED indicates which of the four available channels is being used. Once the blue LED lights up continuously, this signifies that a connection has been established. If multiple U2s are used, the channels can be set accordingly. The U2 can be used to replace any 1/4” instrument cable, whether connecting to a pedalboard or an amplifier. The 24bit/48kHz AD conversion offers a great dynamic range and sound quality, perfectly capturing subtle nuances and overtones with an almost imperceptible latency of 6 milliseconds. Even playing with the volume pot and feels natural with the XVive U2 Gold Guitar Wireless System.

XVive Wireless System U2

Welcome to the wireless world

Both affordable and easy to use, the Xvive U2 wireless system provides an ideal entry point into the world of wireless playing. Even on a small stage, being free of cables can really pay off, such as when indulging in a bit of audience mingling. Those wary of cumbersome wireless transmission systems, often awkward to mount and then play around, need not worry: They'll find the compact U2 system is a pleasure to use. The devices are not much longer than the jack itself, and can be freely rotated through 280°, so they stay out of the way at all times. Moreover, the Xvive U2 is not limited to live gigs. Many guitarists and bassists develop a taste for practicing, improvising, and even writing cable-free!

About Xvive Audio

Xvive Audio officially entered the market in 2012 with its compact U2 wireless guitar system. Since then, the company has also been involved in the development of wireless microphone technology. Its catalogue also includes effects pedals, such as the Signature Series, which were developed in partnership with guitarist Thomas Blug. The products are designed by an American team, based in Pasadena, California, which is composed of musicians and engineers and draws on decades of professional experience. Its lead designer, Howard Davies, was previously employed at Electro Harmonix and Pigtronix, among others. Xvive Audio's goal is to create products that deliver exceptional sound and build quality, while remaining affordable for any musician.

Handy and flexible

The Xvive U2 wireless system can be used to replace any 1/4" jack instrument cable. Both the transmitter and receiver have a 280° hinge, so they seamlessly adapt to any instrument, amplifier, interface or effects pedal. Even ST-style inputs on guitars pose no problem. With the wide frequency response, which extends down to 20Hz, five-string or six-string basses will be well-served too. Electro-acoustic guitars can also benefit from this system, although caution is advised when using unshielded preamp inputs, since interference might occasionally occur. With four switchable channels, each member of the band can use their own U2 system. Similarly, one guitarist who switches between several instruments on stage need only use multiple transmitters sending to the same receiver unit.

M
Cable freedom !
Mark9916 26.11.2021
If you are tired of getting your feet tangled in guitar cables, these are the answer.

They are small, discreet, easy to operate and you will have it figured out in a couple of minutes. After that, it's plug and play !

I couldn't believe how nice it was to be able to move without worrying about pulling too hard on the cable (unplugging) or always fiddling about arranging coils of slack cable behind me.

The sounds is great and for the price it is a bargain. The rest of our band was so impressed they also bought these and the microphone wifi sets.

An affordable way to enjoy the benefits of Wifi the pro's have without the big expense.

p
A fantastic alternative to traditional guitar cables.
patrickoconnell 26.03.2018
I was absolutely blown away when I first used this; it works brilliantly, even when I test its limits. It was fun to amuse my friends with this as well :D
At a basic level, it operates extremely well, delivers great sound quality and is very easy to use. I used it at a competition and ended up doing some crazy stunts while playing guitar due to the fact I was not using a cable, so playing guitar using this wireless system makes things really fun!
Only thing I noticed is that it throws off wifi connections on various devices; for example, I was playing guitar with it and then I had Snapchat open on my phone, and it was loading very slowly, so that is something to consider, although it is not a problem with the product, and simply its operational excellence!
I am very satisfied with the product, and I would not have second thoughts about recommending this as it's absolutely fantastic and worth the price indeed.

Ot
So much fun
Oscar the Jazz Dog 23.08.2017
This is a great product that just works. No set up, no fiddles, it is just plug and play.
Great to have the freedom to move, without cables, and I would never go back to cables. I use a vocal doubling box from T C Helicon, and this just plugs into the jack input, and works.
For anyone who is shy of buying one of these because of feedback, or concers about latency, forget, this product just works so well out of the box.
