Surprisingly versatile tone machine
I’ve been playing the Deputy amp for a few days now and I really like it.
The clean and overdriven tones sound great with single coil or humbucker pickups.
For me it shines when set to an ‘edge of breakup’ sound, and using the volume knob in the guitar to clean up and pedals to boost into overdrive.
That said, the amp can be set pretty clean or fully overdriven, and is surprisingly versatile for a single channel amp.
I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Victory Deputy amazing amp but only after I put EL84s in.
When I 1st got the amp it sounded good but something seemed off. Then i gigged it twice and it just wasn't sounding right. Had a weird mid range and a very hifi top end that was a deal breaker until I thought 'what if I took the el84s outta my Vox'? So i ripped out the El86s and very soon I had the Victory Deputy up and running with the El84s. OMG what a difference. The 3D amazing Midrange came back. The HiFi was gone. It sounds absolutely amazing now. I REALLY JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HOW AWESOME IT SOUNDS NOW. This amp is my number 1 since then and I have a few. Victory what were/are you thinking putting El86s in this awesome sounding 'El84' amp
